How do I know if my pet is in pain?
Pain is complex and every animal can display signs of pain in different ways. Some common signs that may indicate pain are:

What to expect?
All pain consultations start with getting a thorough history of your pet including any medications, supplements, and other treatments they are receiving and what symptoms they are displaying. The next step is a complete physical examination and possibly, depending on findings, x-rays or lab work. Once Dr. Andy has a good understanding of the kind of pain your pet is experiencing, he will proceed with treatment.
